Public Affairs Coordinator – Generation, Climate and Environment at EURELECTRIC

Karl Vella is the Public Affairs Coordinator on Generation, Climate and Environment at EURELECTRIC, the association which represents the European electricity industry. In his role, Karl is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EU and international policy and advocacy relating to these areas.

Prior to joining EURELECTRIC, Karl worked as the Climate Change Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU, as well as a legal advisor and international climate change negotiator for the Government of Malta. He holds a law degree from the University of Malta and a Master’s degree in International Law from the University of Edinburgh.
